Natalie Hodges Powell:

"I was extremely proud with how our team came together and performed in Rhode Island. All the kids got along and there wasn't one ego in sight!

I hope that these boys could come together and continue practicing and do some more tournaments. It would be a great opportunity for these boys to play better hockey with this better team.  We need it to happen in GA!"

Danielle Kitchen:

"It was great to see Yan and Mo working together on the bench. Their ability to set aside any past differences for the benefit of our kids and our sport was truly "leading by example". The life skills our son learns from hockey outweigh the agony of defeat and are exactly the reason we have invested in the sport through the years. Discipline, respect, communication, friendships, and teamwork...future so bright.  Also, New England in August???....beautiful!  Thanks for the experience. "

KAREN WEICH:

"It was a great experience for all the boys both in combining the talent of the 2007’s as well as seeing the boys all work together regardless of their seasonal team.

We would love the opportunity to do a few more tournaments this season with this group whether it is during the season or next spring.

It was a great experience seeing them all together!"

Heather Pracko:

"Coach Mo was fabulous with the kids.  I’ve heard that he can be gruff or whatever and I witnessed helmet taps, pats on the back, “good jobs”, verbal affirmations, whiteboard bench coaching, I mean he was everything you’d want in a hockey coach at any age.  I don’t know what those people are talking about… Coach Mo was great!  "

LETIAN WANG:

"We are so glad Atlanta local rinks finally came together. Thanks for the directors and coaches to give local talented young players the opportunity to skate together and compete with strong northern teams. It has been blasting 3 weekends for Amy. We traveled to Rhode Island without high expectations, only hope for some good experiences and not get blown out. But the team supported each other and worked so hard, and our 14U team went to the finals. They faced a much stronger team in the championship game, but the kids never stopped fighting and pushed the opponents work super hard for every minute. This was an amazing experiences and life time memory for Amy and our family.

As the only girl among 100 GA United players, Amy would like to share her experience to Georgian girls: girl can play hockey, too! If you love hockey, try it and work hard. Girls could be as good as boys and have a lot of fun from hockey.?

Ashley Woulfin:

"What a great weekend!  We had no idea what to expect coming into this tournament and were blown away by the positive experience.  The kids all came together so well (after having played against each other for years) and made it to the championship game after only 3 practices together!  The families got along, the kids got along, and the coaches were awesome.  They built chemistry both on and off the ice and had a blast doing it.  We would love to do more HPW's and tournaments as GA United."
